• Although the title of the book may confuse it's readers once you've read the book you understand it.
  
  When I read the book what I thought of as Spiritus was not what the author had seen. He wrote about the secret service and the listening devices they used to monitor their enemies.
  
  It brought to life a new element of life under a dictator and I enjoyed the read.
  
  I recommend it to anyone who has enjoyed books by Milan Kundera.
