Mein BlockflötenLiederbuch German Edition Lena Eckhoff Books Reviews
- A very delightful book for beginning Recorder for young or old. I started to play the recorder for Lung Exercises, and got hooked on a Recorder. It's fun.
What I liked about this book is
There are 50 songs. That's a lot, and at a very good price.
Yes, it's in German, the songs and the words. But it's a good challenge.
The German songs have the words in German and there are some English songs with the English words on the bottom.
The notes are on a basic level to learn from, and are arranged in degree of difficulty with one star being easy to three stars for more difficult. These songs build confidence as you practice.
The staff and notes are bright and big. Very easy for anyone to read.
I learned songs I haven't heard before.
There is a fingering chart for Baroque and German fingering at the end of the book for reference.
I looked at other Recorder starter books and they didn't catch on with me like this one did.
We all have had to crawl before we learned to walk. This is a great starter book to learn the Recorder, learn new songs, a few German words, and play for fun.
